Thanks so much for all of the work you do to keep us all informed about
these patents. I love reading them, even when I need to re-read several
times to understand them.

In regards to using the phrase "risks of infant formula" I feel pretty
strongly about not using that particular phrase to families or the general
public. I agree strongly that there are a lot of risks of formula. I have
found, however, that with many of the people that I work with, if you tell
them there are risks associated with infant formula, they assume they need
to use a different substitute for human milk/breastfeeding. By stating
there are "risks associated with not breastfeeding" you have taken away all
of the other options other than human milk/breastfeeding as risk-free
choices.

Perhaps there is another way to convey that the problem is not as much as
which substitute is being used as that breastfeeding is not done. I am
going to make it something that I will work towards, finding a different way
to describe the problem of not breastfeeding. Perhaps, "risks of breast
milk substitutes?"
