Subject: Re: Nutritional value of breastmilk after a year
I think I have seen a reference for the continuation of nutrition for babies
who are breastfeeding beyond a year, but can't seem to put my finger on it.

Alice, in the set of overhead sheets with the UNICEF 18 hours course there is one with a table of percentages nutrients a baby will get in his second year, drinking 500mls of breastmilk a day. I'm not on my usual workplace, so I do not have it at hand now. As far as I know UNICEF materials are well refenrenced, but I cannot check it now.
Warmly,
Gonneke van Veldhuizen, IBCLC, LLLL, MOM
