I had a client with primary insufficient milk who supplemented with a
goat milk formula, home-made from a recipie from a physician with a
natural health practice. She used it for a few months, but the baby was
always gassy and miserable, and when she switched to supplementing her
milk with a cow milk based formula, the baby was happier.
Goat milk is no more compatible with the needs of a human infant than
cow milk is, both animals have different developmental needs than humans do.
