Dear Lactnetters,
Please, I do not want to reopen a discussion re: the "c" word, but do
require some info for a physician. I know that Nikki Lee wrote a letter at
one point regarding priority of breastfeeding over the procedure, but was
unable to access it through pub-med, and all my search words in the lactnet
archives didn't bring anything forward either.
Correct me if I am wrong...isn't breast milk considered to be a "clear
fluid"? And do we have data someplace regarding the subject?
This is for the same MD who told a mom not to nurse for 24 hours post tubal
(sigh)and would love to bring him up-to-date on circs as well (unless I am
completely mistaken).
Am currently NO MAIL so would anyone be willing to send the info to me
privately?
Many, many thanks in advance,
Linda M. Duce RN CNM Austin TX
