I always thought that what was recommended (was there a chart by the
WHO about this somewhere?) was 100% breastmilk still by 6 mos. 80/20%
mix (milk/solids) by 1 year, 50/50% by 18 mos and 35/65% (milk/solids)
by 2 years, gradually dwindling after that. I understood this to be a
"guideline", and that some babies would be somewhat different, but
that say, a 1 year old getting only 20% milk was not what should be
happening...
