While the thread on birth plans interests me as a midwife, even I can see
that this could rapidly get away from the Lactnet focus on breastfeeding.

Please see to it when posting on this and any other topic that you relate it
to helping mothers and babies to breastfeed; it is likely that the general
commiserating over the lamentable attitudes toward women's birth plans
observed in many settings, belongs on some other list.  This seems to be a
topic close to many of our hearts, and I for one am glad of it, but unless
you can keep it on topic, it doesn't belong here.  I'm sure you are all
creative enough to weave breastfeeding into your future posts about birth
plans!
