Dear Friends:
The universe is amazing. I had a woman call me with an almost identical
story to the one that Jan described: this woman had a bleb, was treated for
mastitis, and then yeast, and now still has deep breast pain, hurts with latch
also.
I suggested she plop the sick breast into a warm water bath and massage
it, keep nursing on that side, and also call a breast surgeon. I suspect there
may be some more mechanical blocks inside the breast. I referred her to a
breast surgeon, because I can't see inside the breast and want to rule out an
abscess.
Possibly some residual neuralgia after the duct injury from the
plugs/bleb?
What do you all think?
warmly,
