One tapes the sns tube where the center of the baby's lower lip will
touch it when the baby latches. When the baby's lip touches the tube,
the tube tends to bend into the baby's mouth, and winds up between the
tongue and the nipple. This does make the SNS far more effective than
when the tube is in the corner of the mouth or the center of the upper
lip, and reduces "missed the tube" latches considerably.
