Yes, thrush is painful for the baby!  The tongue feels raw and sore as well
as may be having severe constant acid reflux.  I actually contracted thrush
myself after taking antibiotics for my stomach a few years back.  I too,
frequently see a change in the way babies are latching on once treatment for
yeast has begun.
