Anna writes "I have already heard
six or seven what could be deemed highly offensive statements
/comments/conversations, some directed toward me, others stated loudly
within earshot; one where they had no idea I was in the hall."
Anna, I am not at all surprised. I do not know at all what comments were
made but they could be construed as harrassment, and I would not let it
slide. You have a right to be treated professionally and your work is
important and should be highly valued. I would say something to them and
also go to my boss and say I will not stand for this. Several times in my
career I have called others on the carpet. I put it in writing, I tell the
boss I want this on file. I don't know what they say behind my back, but I
get respect in public.
