We receieve large amounts of milk from the Denver milk bank monthly (for our
baby fed through a G-tube). We have always been told we can refreeze milk that
partially thaws on transport as long as there is some ice sill in the bottle.
I have also wondered about the defrosting to pasteurize than refreezing.
However, I do trust them at Denver. Any thoughts from those experienced with milk
banks? Heather Dana (looking forward to adding my own freshly expressed milk
again when baby #4 comes next year)
