Someone had asked about using mother's milk in baby's eyes for "sticky eyes". I found the references, but have lost the copies of the original articles. I found these through LLLI Center for Breastfeeding Information.

Singh M, Sugathan PS, Bhujwala, (1982). Human colostrum for prophylaxis against sticky eyes and conjunctivities in the newborn. Journal of Tropical Pediatrics, 28(2), 35-37.

Tomsak RL (1978). A brief history of the use of human milk in ocular therapeutics. Bul Clevland Med Libr, 24(1), 12-21.
