Pamela says:
"Forgive me for my unkind and disrespectful thought, but perhaps the
soda
companies have failed to donate enough money to AAP and they should
get it
together and with enough money the AAP will be able to tell the
public that
indeed soda is healthy treat and a safe alternative to water, juice
and milk."
I don't think that's at all unkind or disrespectful. What the AAP
is doing (or failing to do) in regard to protecting infants from
"poor food" is far more unkind!
We have to remember that Peds are involved with people up to
puberty, not just infants, but if they don't take a stand on getting
people off to a good start as infants, the rest of their work is to
some extent making up for the less than ideal start.
