This year we received a thank you letter and picture from a mother, sent
to our supervisor,
and one of the comments was that her phone calls were answered promptly
and she was often given helpful information, above what she had asked
for. :)
I do believe in not overwhelming new mothers with too much
information, but a little extra is usually ok. I often anticipate
problems such as the first growth spurt, an extra sleepy near term
infant.
