Having moved to Michigan recently, I started a new job last month and found some very interesting "practice" in the hospital. They were/are recommending tea bags for sore nipples and were amazed at the idea of cold compresses for engorgement. I have lots of ammunition of the engorgement topic, having written quite a bit in the last several years on this topic but the sore nipples thing is driving me nuts.
My manager is very supportive and willing to change practice Here's the problem: I'm scrambling for information as most of my books are in storage right now and I'm not enthused about moving 200 boxes to look for some of them! Can't find my Lawrence or the Lactation Management Series from Rebecca Black, or my Biancuzzo module on sore nipples. I hate to ask anyone to do "my" work but if anyone has some handy, dandy ideas to share this information concisely and quickly, I'd be forever in your debt. I did find Biancuzzo's book (2nd ed) and have checked the archives.
With Sincere thanks,
