Here's a call to Aussie breastfeeding supporters to please put pen to paper
to Weight Watchers. In the Sept/Oct edition on p 57, a very respected
nutritionist (not said with tongue in cheek, she is highly regarded),
writes, in a paragraph on who is at risk of vit D deficiency ... "And if
women are breastfeeding, their infants are at risk of soft, misshapen bones."
Please write to them and suggest that in an effort to refute this ghastly
'error of editing' (surely!!) that they do a full article on not only how
breastfeeding can assist in weight control of the mother, but how
incredibly beneficial it is for preventing obesity in her children.
