I have many times drawn bilirubins, PKU's with the baby latched and feeding
. The baby doesn't miss a beat in sucking or sometimes there will be a
hesitation in the suck but nothing more than that. The mom feels so good
about knowing she can provide this source of comfort for her baby and I
encourage it. Works like a charm.
