Someone recently asked about this legislation; I'm sorry I don't
remember who. Senate Bill 223 was passed this spring and signed by the
governor in May; it officially goes into effect on October 1, 2003. It
states that a mother may breastfeed her child in any public or private
location in which the mother and child are authorized to be.  It further
states that a person may not restrict or limit the right of a mother to
breastfeed her child.
