My only experience with Pierre-Robin was a baby who was unsuccessful at
feeding with any device or position we tried.  This baby needed immediate surgery
to correct this condition, and then did well.  We never got the baby back to
breast...mother was too traumatized by the situation, but we gave her a lot of
support and encouragement, which she appreciated greatly...mostly because her
doctor didn't TELL her about this, the LC's did and did the intervention
(namely ME)  Her baby had continued to lose weight and cried alot.  I would get this
baby to a doctor fast.
