I am a postpartum doula and certified LLLI Breastfeeding Peer Support
Counselor (boy--that's a mouthfull!)

Being a postpartum doula I am in the trenches on a day to
day basis with the mom's are transitioning  into motherhood
or extended motherhood.  As a matter of fact, I usually
start the first day they come home from the hospital--especially
if they have any concerns/difficulties with breastfeeding.

I also provide breastfeeding education and support to women other
than my postpartum clients.

I learned about this group e-mail from another breastfeeding counselor
at a "World Breastfeeding Week"  Celebration.  I am excited to be able
to have such a wonderful resource at the "touch of my fingertips" and
look forward to gleaning much information!
