I am trying very hard to find a response that is more eloquent than "grrrrr"
but it is difficult when I continue to read about/hear about/experience such
blatant acts of discrimination from folks whose mantra seems to be "breast is
best but....nobody should have to see it". I still cannot understand why women
should have to cover up or run to bathrooms or far-away "nursing rooms" to
nurse their children so that others might not become offended. Why do we still
make women responsible for how others might feel? Why can we not expect others
to turn away if they are offended? Why is someone offended by seeing a child @
breast but glad to see a woman in a skimpy bikini that is showing everything
but her nipple? Why are we offended by seeing a woman's breast in a non-sexual
way when it is considered perfectly acceptable for a man to expose his bare
chest in public? Argh!
