Dear friends and fellow BF angels
Just had to coment on what to wear to work. My only hope is that we look like the professionals we are. I have been doing lactation consulting now for almost ten years. Before that I worked in NICU/Mother-Baby units for well over 40 years. I have seen the Peds go from very well dressed to wearing blue jeans. Perhaps this help them interact with their little patients but we need to project professionalism. I have and continue to wear washable slacks and top but always wear a white lab coat. The pants and tops are not scrubs. Hope this is of some help to the ladies out there, as for the guys a shirt, slacks tie and lab coat are looooking good. Thanks for letting me get my two cents in.
