I have long noted that for moms attending their *first* LLL meeting,
their babies' ages tend to cluster around three points. Pregnant
women and moms of newborns are looking to get breastfeeding off to a
good start. Moms of 5-6 month olds want to know about feeding
solids. Moms of 12 months olds are wondering, well, we made it to a
year, now what? It really is funny how these latter two stages bring
the breastfeeding moms out of the woodwork.
