I have searched the archives but found nothing specific to this situation.
I seem to be collecting quite a number of patients who are inducing lactation
for adoption. Because I am (small) private practice, I do not file insurance
but give them the Medela guide for reimbursement. I was wondering if anyone
out there has experience with insurance covering equipment, medications, or
consults for this type of case. I would like to share this information in general
with my patients along with any tips for getting coverage.
Thanks!
