I have found it interesting reading all of the stories about older children
remembering breastfeeding. I always kind of hoped that mine would remember.
I have asked them several times over the last few years and all three say
that they have no memory at all of breastfeeding. I weaned the first two
and the third weaned me. The boys are now 19, 17, & 15 years old. Weaning
ages were (in the same order):
3 years, 4 months;
4 years, 3 months; and
3 years 6 months.
It may be that this mom will also have a child with no memory of nursing,
even if nursed long term.
