In my experience, moms with GBS often receive info re: likely scenarios for baby post-birth in advance of delivery.

I'm also thinking shame on the nurses who tell you the above or a reasonable facsimile, as they do not appear to have checked this out and set in motion a plan to resolve the lack of info (if found). They seem to not understand their responsibility to the mothers and babies who are their patients.
