I would like to voice my objection to the innuendo in Valerie McClain's post
about the Austin milk bank research. Valerie, if you have reasoned
objections to how milk banks are operated in this country, describe them in
a straightforward manner.
The Austin Milk Bank is the most inspiring, in an inspiring group, to me
personally because it is so broad based, visionary and community oriented.
Why risk harming this fragile forward movement toward providing human milk
to vulnerable infants? Also, there is a difference between attacking ideas
and attacking people.
Barbara's criticism and exploration of Valerie's ideas has been at the
highest standard. Let's reestablish a standard where she can feel welcome.
Only the industry lurkers on the list are happy about this development.
