Lisa and Diane,
Can you please explain how/why you feel your plan worked? I am finding it
confusing to reconcile the downregulation that occured with pumping off
10-12 oz and 6 hrs later to fully pump same breast. I would not have thought
to do that, seems it would encourage milk production. The usual advice is to
*not* express fully so as to leave some milk for feedback inhibition, right?
Also, what was done with the other breast that was not being bf on for the 6
hr interval? Very interesting case, but what do you expect but success when
2 great lactnet minds are put together?!
I would appreciate yours and others ideas as to how/why this worked so well?
