Pam,
Congratulations! You should feel great. We change the world
one happy successful family at a time.
> The staff is just too busy.
When/how do we get to the point where makins sure moms and babies
breastfeeding well is part of what the staff is busy doing? Meaning
that breastfeeding is an integral, indispensible part of what
the nurses in post partum do. How can bf be less important
than hearing tests, PKU tests, baths etc.??? Hospitals
don't discharge babies without a bath, a thorough check
up, PKU tests, Hep B shots, etc. etc. How can we d/c them
before they are beastfeeding well?? Am I missing something???
