Hello all -
I can't find a good way to insert the direct url to this ad campaign into a
text-only message, so follow these commands to see a new Belgian ad campaign
for Brussels Airlines. The theme is "Passionate for you" and one photo is
of a flight attendant sitting down and nursing a passenger mother's baby for
her.
go to http://www.flysn.com/EN/default.aspx
<http://www.flysn.com/EN/default.aspx> and click in the area under the
headers at the top (where the photo of a male flight attendant is)
in the window that opens, hold the mouse over the lower left (where the row
of photos is) and the row of photos will scroll, showing the flight
attendant nursing photo
click on that photo and it will show it larger, with Belgian and French
commentary
This is the commentary (in French) that is on that page:
Imaginez un endroit où l'on ne s'occupe que de vous. Un endroit où vous ne
devez penser à rien. Et où l'on ne se préoccupe que de votre confort. Un
petit coin de paradis dans les airs. Oui, c'est bien ici. Mais maintenant,
réveillez-vous. Il faut quand même garder les deux pieds sur terre. Tout
n'est pas possible non plus.

Totally unrelated aside, I helped a mama labor last night (and into the wee
hours this morning) and after the birth the nurse tech sweetly said "I'll
just take him to the nursery and give him a bath and bring him back, we'll
meet you in recovery!" I indicated that mom needs to feed him first, and
that definitely needs to happen before he is bathed. The tech looked at me
thoroughly perplexed and said "Why?!" I explained, and she said "Aww,
that's not really true. Some babies just can't breastfeed you know."
AAAAAAAAHHHH! Needless to say, baby did great. Guess mom's lucky he's not
one of 'those babies.' (?!?!)
