Hello all
I am assisting a mom of a 10 day old to pump for her 35 week son. She rented a lactina when the baby was transferred to a regional center and used it every 2 - 3 hours. She has been back at our facility for 6 days and was using the lactina till today I tried the Symphony with her. She is only yielding about 1 ounce total per pump, but her breast have increased from a c to an e cup and they feel full. When she pumps she does not get large spray of milk as most moms do.. she is resting, eating, taking vits, using warm towels and massage... what else can we do to help he get more milk out? I have suggested rescue remedy , but I really feel like the pump just isn't getting the milk out.
