Assuming you will be seeing this dyad in person, would it be of benefit to
take a swab of the baby's mouth. I know you wouldn't normally do this, you
would just go by clinical presentation, but it may be an objective way of
proving it is thrush ;-)
(Hoping the swab *will* culture positive!!)
The Dr may be more willing to treat on the basis of a positive swab??
