I would interpret this to mean that we are to require and obtain CONSENT, not
that we are required to report.
Just as my hcp requires me to sign a consent to share information when I see
him. That does not mean he shares information about every visit, but the
consent is there, if he should need it....

It seems to me that is pretty straightforward that the IBCLC is obligated to
share information with the primary health care provider -- either the OB or
the peds or the midwife....
