Some states are not very forgiving re bf and jury duty, my part of Louisiana
being one. While having a preschooler and baby nursling, I was not excused
from duty and luckily the case was settled out of court. I did arrive with
the baby but was told I could be cited for contempt, I just said I had no
one to keep her. It was lucky the case was settled.
