Hi I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Frank for providing
information here on a regular basis. It's very nice to have such a wide
range of professionals here on this list, and to have many with such
amazing expertise. Many thanks to Frank and to all.
Have a good weekend....and to those who celebrate a holiday, best
wishes.

Micromedex lists hydroxychloroquine use in breastfeeding as
controversial. Hydroxychloroquine was excreted into breast milk in 2 of
2 mothers using this drug. Concentrations were 344 and 1,424 ng/mL,
respectively, with milk to whole blood rations of 0.48 and 0.85,
respectively. The article that the doctor's may be citing is:
Costedoat-Chalumeau N, Amoura Z, Aymard G, et al. Evidence of
transplacental passage of hydroxychloroquine in humans. Arthritis Rheum
2002; 46 (4): 1123-4. I do NOT have a copy of the article. Frank J.
