Might this milk be coming from Glands of Montgomery? I remember feeling
quite shocked when I noticed 3 distinct drops of milk coming from my areola
maybe a cm below my nipple at different times during my nursing career. I do
remember also that Montgomery glands can be connected to ducts in some way
(offhand don't remember the reference-Auerbach and Riordan?) and it's not
unusual for milk to be seen from them.
