RE: Warning on Ross Sterile Water Bottles used for Breastmilk storage
Recommendations
I suspect this is purely because they do not want to provide free sterile
water to nurseries or NICU's only to have the nurses dump the water and use
the bottle for pumping or storing breastmilk. This simply gives them an out
on the free provisions should they see this practice in action.
That is my suspicion. Afterall, if the bottles are storing sterile water
meant for feeding, and they are sterile, then there should be no physical
issue with storing EBM in them - except of course for the issue Ross has
with it!
