I'm personally thrilled to see this an option. A colleague of mine was
preparing to adopt a child after years of trying infertility treatments.
She has pretty severe diabetes and was cautious at best about success with
inducing lactation and being able to provide her own milk for an adoptive
child. She is a totally natural woman, very cautious about the food and
products she buys making sure that most is organic. When we started to
search together for an organic formula, we found that there was no organic
infant formula for a baby under 12 months. This was pretty frustrating for
her. For what it's worth, in this situation, I'm glad to see there is an
organic alternative.
