Pam,
When I told my husband this one, he said, "Tell the
nurse that the baby can't read."!

Subject: Ped office and NO EATING OR DRINKING ALLOWED
OK, now I have heard of everything. One of my moms in
support group
told the
group that she was at her Pediatrician's office
nursing her baby in the
waiting area. An office nurse came flying out into
the room and said
"CAN'T YOU
READ? IT SAY NO EATING OR DRINKING ALLOWED!" This
mom did not stop
nursing.
The office nurse told her to hurry up or she would be
in real trouble
if the
Doctor saw her. I can't even believe this! Of course
we want the mom
to have a
lawyer send a friendly little letter to ruffle his
feathers. She does
have a
family member who is an attorney. When she questioned
the Ped. he said
that
he never said a mom can't nurse in his office. He
also said that the
nurse is
his best nurse and she would not be reprimanded. This
mother is having
trouble finding a Ped. because she will not immunize
her child.
I can't believe this Ped. even has a practice!
