Dear Nikki,
I share your frustration over this HCP's dismissive
attitude! Bright red bleeding and dark infant stools
at eleven days postpartum are *abnormal* and warrant
investigation. What is the big deal about getting a
pelvic ultrasound--gee, the physician may have to
admit (at least to himself) that he missed something!
It is a greater mistake, IMVHO, to waste time and
energy by denial or attempts to cover up the original
oversight, rather than simply taking steps to correct
it promptly.
