My 3 year old ( who is 20 now) brought home the chicken pox from her 2
mornings a week at preschool. Her brother was 9 weeks old. I freaked out
way back then. The first question my Pediatrician asked me was if I was
still nursing and when I said yes, he said, that is great. Hopefully he
won't get them, but if he does you will be able to easily comfort him with
nursing. I didn't realize what a good Pediatrician I had back then! My
little guy did get them. But we all weathered the storm just fine.
