Thanks, Judy, for the chuckle in the post about the
larynx in humans vs. other animals ("that's why you
can talk and your dog can't...")  I have always wished
dogs *could* talk!  I am sure my mother would second
this; when accused by my dad of loving the dog more
than him, she would always reply, "That's because she
[the dog] doesn't give me any crap!"

Seriously, though, interesting post!
