Hi all,
I would like to add a bit to the bf and alcohol discussion.
I seems that all emphasis is on alcohol in milk, but alcohol consumption by a
bf mother does also effect the milkproduction and may negatively effect the
mother's abiliy to be a responsible parent to her child. These 2 aspects migh
be of more concern than the rather small amounts of alcohol the baby will
ingest via his mother's milk.
I remember reports of a study done on young cardrivers which pointed out that
already after one drink the vision and reaction time were negatively
affected.
Warmly greeting,
Gonneke
