I apologize for the hasty remark. I should have chosen my words more
carefully. I am well aware of the effects of weaning on ovulation, having
experienced this several times myself. However, this seemed like another case
of blaming breastfeeding, as well as "looking for zebras instead of horses"
when you hear hoofbeats. Perhaps it does merit more investigation.
