OK, I mainly work with MOT/MOM--but not all. When I bring up hand expression as an option, most totally dismiss it. (I also frequently suggest it is possible to BF without ever expressing/pumping, depending on the situation, of course! Just today, so many think they MUST pump. And expression probably would work as well for those situations, but I find most still want some sort of pump.) Mine is not to wonder why--as long as it's realistic for the BF/lactation goals, I'm for whatever works for the particular dyad!

Ah, that brings back memories. I did that, too, with cereal at first.
