Hello!!
I am a LLL leader in Newton, Iowa USA and am inquiring on working towards
the IBCLC exam.
I have no education what so ever to apply towards my qualifications.
So I need at be working on an associates degree.
Are there any suggestions on what classes I should be hitting first?
I have looked at about all the on-line classes that are available.
I just don't know if I should just start with Anatomy and work from there.
Does anyone know if my taking these on line courses, my credits will add up
to qualify for the exam?
When I called IBCLC, she told my I needed to go Pathway E.
That also requires 8000 consultation hours. I only have 2500 right now.
I know that my "education" part will take me a while, but really want to
accomplish my goal sooner.
Any ideas or suggestions. Feel free to email me privately.
Jennifer
