I have read the archives, and found no recent posts on the subject...
I was called by an LC at the hospital about a mom with a 2 mm wart-like
lesion on one nipple...has been there just a few weeks, and baby only 2
days old.
My question is, Lawrence has one sentence about HPV lesions occurring on
the breast, and implies mom shouldn't nurse if she has one. Any
experience with this?? I suggested someone obtain enough tissue to send
it for testing, but not sure what to do with the results!
Thanks-
Kathy Leeper, MD, IBCLC
