Unfortunately, the http that was listed only got me to a page trying
to sell stuff. I tried searching the jsonline site, but didn't have
the family name or couldn't find the article using the topics I
tried. Jeanne-Can you check and post a better link. Also, were you
trying to post the link just to the obit or to the full article that
appeared 4/16. I will try again when I have the article in front of
me. I really think this beautiful story needs to be widely
distributed. I definitely plan to show it to a "higher-up" at work
who made the statement, "Breastfeeding is certainly nice, but babies
don't die from not being breastfed!" Breast milk certainly made a
big difference in this case.
The family has asked that donations be sent to Mother's Milk Bank in
Denver, where they got milk for the girl when mom wasn't getting as
much as she needed. They are still paying the bill as I understand
they used doner milk for much of the girl's 4 years.
Now to a request on my part. Can anyone send me the address, phone,
or e-mail for the Denver Milk ban?. I suspect we will be getting a
lot of questions, especially from moms who may want to donate.
Please send to me at my work e-mail - ([log in to unmask]).
Thanks.
Winnie
