This is almost verbatim "my speech" which I gleaned from Lactnet over the
years I thought. Maybe I have seen your response in print before. I have
also used Barbara Wilson-Clay's dog ownership analogy for some BABYWISE
parents recently. The light over their heads was visible. They were afraid
of being "held hostage" by the baby. I also have started picking up the
water pitcher, and asking how long since you had a drink? Then I suggest
how frustrated they would be if I took the pitcher with me, and returned at
an arbitrary time. That seems to have sunk in well also.
