I recall reading an essay that started with something
like, "if mothers could give their baby a magic pill
that gave her 10 IQ points, protected her from
allergies, etc. wouldn't all mothers be clamoring for
their doctors to prescribe it?". Does this ring a
bell for anyone? I've searched the archives and
googled for it but I guess I just don't recall what it
said well enough to find it.
Please cc me if you find it since I'll be nomail this
week while skiing in Breckenridge.
